MIKE DUNNE

Mike Dunne, contributing wine columnist for The Sacramento Bee, is nearing his 50^th year of writing about wine, focusing mostly on California but including other regions about the globe. He is The Bee’s retired wine columnist, restaurant critic and food editor. In addition to continuing to write for The Bee,  he freelances for other publications, for books and for wine competitions that ask him to write tasting notes on best-of-class and other wines receiving high honors. He judges around 10 wine competitions yearly.
